Children's Ministry
Our mission is to help families to nurture a generation of children who are transformed by the Holy Spirit into healthy, gospel-loving, and servant-hearted contributors to their local churches, with the ultimate purpose of worshipping the Lord and delighting in His presence for eternity.
On Sunday mornings, we offer classes for children to engage in a time of learning and fellowship. We have an awesome team of volunteers—all background checked—who are excited and ready to care for your children. Stop by our check-in table just outside the Covenant Room, which is in the hallway just outside the Chapel, and we’ll get your child(ren) plugged into
the correct class:
Little Lambs
Children ages 0–2 years old are welcome in the Covenant Room for the entirety of the Sunday service. Just drop them off right after you check them in, before you head to the Chapel. The littlest children will be able to play and get their wiggles out, while the 2-year-olds will have the opportunity to listen to a fun Bible story and do a related activity or take-home craft.
Connect
Children ages 3–4 years old will be dismissed to the Upper Room after the first set of worship songs every Sunday morning to pray, worship, and have a Bible lesson together.
Spark
Children in Kindergarten through 2nd Grade will be dismissed to the Strikwerda Room (within the Student Center) after the first set of worship songs. In Spark, kids will hear Bible stories that teach them who God is and help “spark” their faith to grow.
BLAST
On the first, second, and third Sundays of the month, children in 3rd through 6th grade will be dismissed to the Auditorium after the first set of worship songs to hear a Bible lesson targeted to their life stage and interact with peers.
