High School Ministry
New Heart’s High School Ministry is a grassroots ministry that seeks to be where our students are. It started slow and small but has grown into a ministry that seeks to raise up students to be leaders in their friend groups and families, in their communities, in the church, and in the world. Our young people are spiritually hungry, and it is our great joy to offer this ministry to our community.
Sunday Mornings
While our High School Ministry does not have a separate meeting time during the week for “official” programming, we encourage students to come to our Sunday morning service. It’s a great opportunity to hear the preaching of God’s Word and commune with the body of believers.
Bible Studies
What started as a one-on-one meeting has now grown into a gathering that serves over 100 East Grand Rapids high school students each week! During the school year, we meet every week for discipleship through incredible Gospel-centered lunch conversations, and any student from
EGR who wants to come is welcome!
Girls Group: Wednesdays, 4th hour (10:50) and 5th hour (11:50) lunch periods, at Jose Babushka's

Events
Each year, we plan a few fun events to get to hang out in a context outside of school or church. We enjoy getting to know our students better through our paintball events, Cedar Point trips, and other fun activities. It’s laid back and casual, and we’re open to students’ ideas and love making them happen!
